Guys! Another serious discussion!!! Are you strong enough?

Excluding jokes, what about your experience with this skill? I had a player with lvl 17 JS + 16 JR, his salary was crazy but his % in 3 point shots was lower than 15 JS + 12 JR. I see now in the TL, there are some players with good JR but honestly their percentages are not so good above all if you compare the benefit of this skill with the pejus on salary that you have.
At the end which is the best compromise skill/salary to train JR in your opinion?

I believe the level of percentages is strongly depending on the defences they face also...

That's for sure and it is also easy that the player with best OD defends against your best shooter but...

I personally prefer JS 18+ players to have JR of 11-13. Anything higher the salary would go crazy and they will take too many 3 pointers.

Also take experience into affect. A player with prominent experience will shoot better than 1 with inept, and so on. There are too many factors to strictly find the effect of range. It also would depend on the offense. Offenses where the player is going to take a lot of 3s needs higher JR than a player who takes mid range shots.

I agree, some players have extremely good JS + JR, but the shooting percentage is very poor.

Sometimes I think to myself, whether training JR to a high level really brings more benefits. I feel that a player starts taking too many threes (and long ones) and simply miss a lot of them.

I sold him cause his % was really poor and he costs to me a lot due to the high JR skill but you can check in the TL, you will see that in general the % aren't so different compare to a lvl 12-13, so I'm asking if is good to improve this skill considering the impact that it has in the salary
