personally i ran an outside offense with pretty weak shooters and high passing quite succesful for a long time. the trick was that maybe my PF, C shots nearly as good as my guard but the most point still comes from my position one to three.

average assist if tough, i always play inside and outside tactics but i believe it should be around 17. if you want to check my games myself, when i bought Hitzler i got my second Guard who actually could shot the ball. DePiero was a great shoter, but haven#t driving(just 7 later 8).

I give you some PL and Po games of season 14 already, where i mostly play outside, but also mostly without lineup and coach decide hopefully this isn't too confusing for you8but my lineups else are confusing too):

(26227675)
(29529030)
(26227638)

the one against weak opponent in the first half of the season i excluded.

and PO:
(29210320)
(29458455) -38 Assist, but ok laim give up that game ;)

Shooting skills of my players:
Qualitnger 12/10(JS/JR)
machran 13/10
Di Piero ~17/14
Gianfresci ~ 10/9
Jacot ~ 11/7
Dachsbau 11/8 (quite sure about it)
Alabora 10/5
radeke 6/1-2
Bouillon 6/2
Edit: Youtai, probadly about 10711 JS with few range for a guard, he was a pure defender.

Should be the pguys who played most times. for lot of player i had to guess the skills, because i trained them or selled them, afterwards.

19-20 for guards..?

far away from that ;) But from the position 1-3 they are in double figures, when Dachsbau didn't play SF who had just 7 there(but had to pass with his shooting abilities)

i played this PL game a few days ago with the same tactic in your examples -> (32832350)
JS-JR-PS of my PG/SG/SF are 15-13-15 / 16-13-15 / 20-11-13..
the total number of assists they made in 45 minutes is only 6..

6 is pretty few, but i believe more a exception then a rule, like the 45 Assist in 54 FG (29529106) even against such a competion(if you even could use this word there) i believe thaty my personal record. I think 2-3 less assist then with inside tactics are quite normal, but i think the difference isn't bigger.
even with two shooters and highest passing 12 for the starters, my lowest Assist was 12 the most around 18 and maybe the best line was in this high scoring game on with 32((29529090))

With an outside offence, the guards prefer to shoot instead of pass the ball
Look at these two games, played in the same week(same game shape)

(32920101)
(32920105)

The only difference among the two lineup is that in the second game the PG has 2 level less in passing and 3/1 more in JS/JR

but still quite different playing styles, some teams fit better to a tactic and some opponents also ;)

And then random plays a role in two games evaluation, at least for my team i could say that there a fewer assist but not so much and i go through a lot of games today for moutlinho. And fewer assist, don't mean weaker impact in the offense maybe it is just not so easy to spot.
