you r in a real bad spot and have to work out if you want to try and make the playoffs or not

your roster is really bad but you have 2 good guys

the game shape of your guys is bad, watch your minutes

finally who r u training?

training is the most important thing in this game

get 3 young 18-19 year old trainees and start training

it was like 1-7 when i take over this team,
so i think there is only a really small chance for my team to catchup n make to the playoff, right?

2 good guys do u mean by the sg and sf that i bought lately?

I wonder how to manage my minutes, let the coach decide subs?

i thought Neil Bornhoeft (21605394), Davor Grković (21605383) and Tupa Warlow (21605384) may hv some talent as their potential are not bad. seems i hv to save some money and make some move on the market..

lastly, to ensure about the training. it only train once a week on friday, right?

Thanks a lot

I will be brutal but truthful about your situation.

You can still make the playoffs and promote. But it is a longshot. Most of the teams in your league look really bad but it is hard for a casual observer to see if there is a really well run team under the radar. Big Daddys R Us look good. Sonic Booms look bad. The Dunky Bunch arent that scary. Parkwood Panthers - wow if they know what they are doing they will be amazing in no time, but I suspect they don't. So you have to decide to act in the short term or the long term - they are mostly mutually exclusive.

So your first decision is to build for the future create a team that will certainly win your league next season and go on eto be strong forever but will be horrid this season.

or

Go for it ight now. Like a poker player going all in. You put all your efforts into trying to win this season, do it and get great rewards. Fail and you have totally wasted the season.

This is your first choice. Choose fast. Either way you will need to make some huge changes this week.

First, I'd like to say thanks for making things clear for me.

Well, I don't think my team is capable to do a big thing at the moment, I'd rather rebuild it, and maybe get a good youngster in the draft, as I short of cash to buy some talented young player.

So what you reckon I should do to build my team for future? What changes should I make?

btw, where can I find out more information of promoting? or maybe I should say how the whole virtual world works?

Cheers

Really really short on time tonight but to promote there are two ways.

1) Win the championship.
2) Have am amazing regular season record and some luck (21-1 or 22-0).

If you can't win then have a look at your economy page and find the salary floor. Sell players until you are just below that. Actually you need a whole new strategy for long term success. You need to start tanking for draft picks and training the future of your team. More on this in a day or two.

The player salaries floor means that every week that is the minimum you will be charged for salaries each week. It is normally higher but because you are in your first season in that league you don't have a player salary floor.

Are you sure? I think if I get promoted to the ABBL I will have a slaary floor in my first season. Surely? Maybe it is a division IV thing? Do no teams in Australia division IV have a salary floor? Does anyone know?

ABBL salary floor is $238 713 this season. I would suspect that there is no floor for the lowest divisions, that would be a bit harsh

Division 4 teams do have a salary floor. If you got promoted to the ABBL then you wouldn't have a salary floor in your first season.

85% sure on both the above statements, but can't find the source unfortunately.
