I lost my semi-final match today by 10 points. Now, I think that with the same opponent I will have to play in play-offs, hopefully in my home.

So my question is simple, will Home Count Advantage give me a boost of 15 points considering that nothing else changes from today?

it will give you a boost, but rather a boost of about 5 points, not 15. Try analysing that game, and check whether there is a hole in his defense or a pattern in his offense that you can exploit further.

it's ten for home vs. away. But that means it's 5 for home vs. neutral...

and there's often at least some random involved. But I'll check your match and tell you if I can find any reason as to why that happened-

You´d start playing TIE to increase enthusiasm and use it then. It can reduce the diference in another ¿5? points. One more move and you´ll beat him.

Best regards.

ok, I checked. You're not really stronger everywhere, but rather the two of you are about equally strong. However, your players committed 20 Fouls, which led to 27 points from FTs for you opponent, and your SF fouled out. That's largely a matter of luck, but checking whether you have very aggressive players could help.

Also, your starters played well above 40 minutes, which might work if they're equipped with high stamina, but usually doesn't pan out.

right..the problem is bigger. I don't know why though, I know his player skills (not all of course) and he really isn't any better.

would 3:2 defense help in this case? My OD is really strong though, I don't think that's my problem.

if he consistently sticks to outside offenses, 3-2 offense might be the best thing you can do. Yes, your OD is quite strong, but in that case, you want it as strong as possible without totally compromising your rebounding (hence no 1-3-1). 3-2 does do that for you.

It may, but you have to understand that at any arena the intention and focus of the game will be key. No matter if its at your house or theirs, you still have to put forth the energy of winning and play to win! I say if you have to, use the home arena and the crowd's energy to your advantage.
Good Luck!
