I just wanted to congratulate Mogul on a fantastic achievement as he has now achieved the number 1 rank in the world aand is the first team from Canada to be ranked number 1 in the world since BC Torooo (i believe ;) ). Well done Mogul, you are one of the best managers in buzzerbeater history, congratulations!

Between the successes of the u21 and full NT and now Mogul's world ranking I would say that it's been a good last few seasons for Canada. Things are looking up!

Congrats to the new number one...ME!!!

Haha, just kidding of course. I was fortunate enough to catch The Mogul after he played two important and tough games. His lineup was high on minutes so I knew I would get less than his best, and my starters managed to pull off a huge win. This vicory means I have given myself a chance to not get destroyed by the Secret Agents in the first round of the playoffs.

In all seriousness, Congrats Mogul, you are a great manager and have done Canada proud!

Thanks for the kind words everybody. My team may be #1 in the rankings, but suddenly sure isn't playing like it! Maybe I'm just saving all the lucky bounces for the B3 tomorrow. Yes, I'll go with that....

In any case, that was a really tough loss for me tonight. I knew it would be a difficult game to win, with my current minute issues, but I thought I put enough players into the lineup to get the job done. Looking at the box score...well, I don't know what happened. That's two games this week where I lost by quite a bit, despite thinking that I would probably win before the game started. I suppose my fountain of good luck isn't endless, even if I sometimes hope that it will be. :P

Oh well, I guess I'll go hug that #1 world ranking, and see if that makes me feel better. I was hoping to pull off a 22-0 season, as I haven't done that in Naismith yet, but I guess it's not to be. I don't think it will get any easier in the future either. We shall see.

Congrats on another B3 win. Good luck next week against the #1 seed. I think you're probably still the favourite though. If you win that 1 though, the final could be a pretty scary game. That guy stacked his team this season.

Well, I definitely did get my share of lucky bounces against Metallist Kharkov today, and a 20 point win is a much better result than I was expecting. Kharkov probably deserved a closer game, but I'll gladly take the result, and I was fortunate that an early injury to Renzo Schek (3 minutes in) didn't end up hurting me. I'm really excited that Rudi Nenadic was able to step in as the emergency reserve and get the job done.

Next week, Flumpaci is going to be a very tough opponent, and I really respect that team. Definitely one of my favourite squads in BB. I did lose to Flumpaci earlier this season in Private League by 7 points (83-90), although an early Ronald Grim foul out contributed to the loss. Of course, Ronald Grim has become a foul out machine, with 12 foul outs this season. Is it possible for players to get more aggressive as they get older? He's always been a fouler, but things have really got a bit crazy lately.

I can't imagine anyone beating Venomous Scorpions this season, but we'll see. He's got two more games left to win, and who knows...maybe there will be some B3 magic up ahead. :)
