I will surely face LI
I will of course use 2-3
My C & PF more than good enough ID to stop his
Close game last time and his SF heaved up a bunch of shots (None outside)
In a 2-3 would one of my big men come over to help cover if my SF is not great at ID
he will be the focus of MY scoring

i am one of the convinced dudes that 2-3 is a strong zone against the right offense. But as you say your inside players are strong enough to stop theirs, you have homecourt so i won't risk anything(maybe an surprising outside tactic) and beat him playing man to man.

If your C and PF already has good enough ID to stop his then go with M2M.

2-3 zone is in a way not working as intended. Besides you already can shut him down with your C and PF

Since he can't score against my Big men
won't he naturally try and score inside with others
I've beaten him twice this season and his SF eventually starts taking most of the shots

usually, when going to the bigs inside doesn't work, the guards will start chucking up 3s. If you play 2-3 zoe in such a case, chucking up 3s is a very good strategy - you'll usually be too weak on the outside.

If he can't get the ball to the big men then he will either:
1. try drive in with the guards but they also need very high driving and IS and possibly high passing from other players
2. forced to take long range jump shots just before shot clock expires as getting a shot off is better than no shot at all.

In either case, M2M is more superior as guards don't tend to have high IS and also you won't be too exposed on outside when they start taking jump shots

I have enough outside defense to cover SF SG & PG
just worried about those 3 taking the ball inside
especially SF

i got around 2 average three against me playing 2-3, so you nrmally could afford that ;)
