I'm not sure who would be better. I'm going to be running a base offense or push the ball offense but I'm not sure which small forward is better. My small forward will have to be able to shoot the 3 occasionally but needs to have a good mid range game and be able to rebound.

Player A
Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: average
Driving: respectable Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: awful Inside Def.: pitiful
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: inept Free Throw: strong

Experience: average

Player B
Jump Shot: prominent Jump Range: average
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: mediocre
Driving: respectable Passing: average
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: strong Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: pitiful Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: mediocre

Player A has the better skills but I'm leaning towards Player B because of his better stats he had this season.

Neither.

Player A has no ID so will be pawned as a SF. not to mention he can't score inside either

Player B doesn't have enough defense (outside and inside) to justify playing him.

You can easily get better players off the market.

But if you had to choose one, B is better than A only because he is more rounded for a SF than player A is.

Also, don't worry about stats. It doesn't mean anything. Skills are more important

Player A is clearly the better player.

That said, they are both terrible players. Nevermind the huge stamina issue, their OD, passing, and JR (also ID a bit) are just bad.

player A is the better player; player B is the better SF. Neither can defend, so they should both at best be sixth men. If I had to choose, I'd keep player A and have him back up both wings (SG and SF), and buy better defenders for the starting slots.

Uh. JR is the least of his worries. And ID is the biggest of his worries, not "a bit". They are SFs, not guards.

That said, yeah they are both awful because neither can defend worth a lick. Player A is probably worse, but Player B's mediocre outside D isn't exactly great either.

Get rid of both.

They are both putrid, horrible and would be best replaced by a guy from the tl you could probably get for $10,000 or less, however it being playoff time you may have no choice so player A would be less atrocious and in a 3-2 zone could be approaching inept!

Those are you best options for SF? You have a problem in the position... sorry for the realism =P

Yes, they are good offensively. However, they are so bad defensively that they allow even very weak opposing SFs to dominate them. There's no use in scoring much if the opponent is allowed to score at will himself.

as the bare minimum, proficient OD and ID should be required for a SF.
