Hi! Does anyone know why is my PG driving more in PtB than LI? Shouldn't be the other way around? In LI he takes a lot of midrange jumpers. Same in PtB, but he also drives a lot in that offense.

Is PtB faster than LI or same pace?

Thanks for answers!

Btw, my PG:
JS: 13 JR:5
HA:13
DR: 14
PA: 12
IS: 2

I listed only offensive skills.

EDIT: One more thing: From your experience, if the opponent play M2M defense and his guards have bad ID, is it better to play PtB or LI? It's clear one should play LI, but since my PG drives more in PtB...also from my experience I draw more fouls with PtB than LI.

Thank you, that was very informative and helpful! I thought that with inside tactic, I will exploit the mismatches even more, but after reading your post maybe that's not the case. Anyway, the reason I was asking this question is this match:

(33307251)

His SF fouled out - I put a SG on SF with good shooting and driving and IS only 2. His PG made 4 fouls on my PG - always on driving. I thought I'd exploit that even more with LI, but maybe PtB is the way to go.
Now I will put a SG with DR 12 and IS 7 on SF and that should make his SF foul out even earlier. I will probably choose PtB tactics since I want my players to drive as much as they can.

Thank you very much for your advice, moutlinho! It helped me because if I didn't see it, I would probably play Look inside. Instead I played PtB and the result is: (35912518)

I guess the game would be closer if he played M2M defense, but I think I'd win anyway. I think this is the perfect example of the say "offense wins games, defense wins championships" and "defense wins, offense just sets the difference".

From what I know the PG is used more heavily in the Push The Ball offense. So the reason he may be driving more is because he's possibly a higher prioritized option to score in that offense rather than the LI inside offense which usually is played through the C or the SF.

Then why did his PG made only 8 FG in 37 minutes? I know he dished 13 assists, but does that mean he has much better PA skill than DR or JS?
My PG for example, has DR 14 and PA 12.

No. The point guard's responsibility is normally the facilitator. Push the Ball puts the emphasis on the point guard to control the flow of the game...so the Point guard makes more decisions in that offense than look inside.
