If you play him 96 minutes a week, you can pretty much guarantee his GS will drop by 1 level as a minimum. If unlucky, he will drop 2 levels.

If you train GS, you can prevent that drop in GS and maintain the level but GS is still very random so it is very hard to give an exact answer

It's the finals, train something else like free throws. It's win or go home, so go for it.
Besides, game shape it's reset in the offseason.

Training GS is a legitimate tactic if you are going to over play your players during the playoffs. Good GS could mean make or break during the playoffs so it is worthwhile to keep it at strong/proficient if it means giving up a week of additional training. Especially when you are in for a tough finals series.
