I pick up this player today for $ 8 500 tell me if that was a great pick up for next yr. I need some younger big for the next 2 seasons.

His current Weekly salary: $ 4 602

So hopefully next yr his salary will be under $6000

I believe it was a steal

Looks to be a pretty solid player, though it's worth noting that his stats are probably a bit inflated by the previous owner's use of patient. Still, the very fact that he was taking so many shots in patient, means that he can be a tough mistmatch for opponents. That mismatch is probably due to his good jump range, as he's very good from 3 point land.

His downsides on the other hand are a fair amount of turnovers, probably poor passing, and a lot of fouls. I wouldn't say these outweigh his good points. I also wonder what his defense his like. With all his scoring and rebounds, I would have expected a better game rating than his average 6.5. But also his old owner played a lot fo 2-3 zone, and this guy might not be good at PF for that.

I don't know if I'd expect his salary to necessarily rise. At 27 I doubt he got a large number of skills improvements even if he was trained.

Thanks for your input. I saw him and thought that he could help my team get to DIV IV. Big games and still pretty young with a low sal.
