How many seasons sould it take me to get promoted? Im starting to make move this season preparing for next season. I see that I caught on to late but still had a good 1st season. I'm ready to take the League and get promoted to DIV IV. How should I prepare my Team? Thanks in advance.

Also, if I'm correct. Worst case, I lose in the Finals and put up more fans for the upcoming yr. I just added 1000 more seats and got another decent player. I saved a lot of money my first season. I might have a chance if I play my cards right.

About to start training my young SG's for the season.

Yep, Make sure to be training someone. If I were you I'd pick up another prospect or two after the draft so that you can fill out a 5 player training rotation and 2 position train. Gentry currently looks like a good trainee along with your 18 year old, after the draft a couple of star potential or so 18 year old trainees should be pretty cheap to pick up. Also make sure to manage enthusiasm, if you do it right you'll win your mostly bot league easily.

Ok, so should I train SG's and SF's or SG's and PG's. I'm thinking the 1st option. Thanks for the input.

Honestly, training SF's needs more experience and knowledge about the game than you have at this point in time. I'd train PG's and SG's.

I agree with this...however, if he can find a veteran coach to give him some insight as to what is required to train SFs, there is really no better time than in the lower divisions. It won't be as easy to following that training program in the higher divisions. In the lower divisions that are a lot more games each season that you can win with scrubs, and gives your training program a lot more versatility.

And if he starts now, when he gets to higher divisions, he will have the type of players to help him win, that we all covet.

Wow you make a good piont also. I like SF's in real life and was hoping to start training them and buy a PG.

Without taking a good look at the other teams in your league, you should be able to promote next season or the season after if you develop a strong understanding of the game (like enthusiasm, game shape, etc.). There are people here that can help with that (and the fact that Jason has already pitched in is big . .. he is a great resource).

I HIGHLY recommend you get a level 4 or 5 trainer, but then spend cash ONLY on getting your arena much larger. Cash is a huge factor in being successful at the D.IV level and higher . . . and you need to start building your arena for that now. I am a fan of lots of smaller improvements (adding 500 bleachers 4 times during the season rather than a 1 time purchase of 2000) since the larger purchases take so long, but some people disagree. I believe your goal should be to have around 8000-9000 seats when you promote. Get to 6500 bleachers as quickly as you can (since you will win most of your games next season - and winning is the key to fillnig bleachers).
