Due to the off season break and needing to change my trainer anyway...I have a minimal trainer.
I thought it would be smart financially to wait to get a new one.
I am training stamina. Good decision or will it basically not do anything? Will he at least make sure no one drops in stamina?

Good decision because it doesn't matter the level of your trainer, there's no diference in group trainning, like stamina or free throw. Don't train game shape, obviously.
If you need to work those aspects, you can seize the opprotunity and search with patient for a new trainer. The key to get a good and not very expensive employee (or player) is patience and opportunity.

You 100% sure on that?
If I wanted to do a whole season of Stamina and Free Throw Training, I could keep my minimal trainer and it would be the same as if I had a superior trainer?
Wow......

That's a clever strategy! And, also, gives you time to search without a rush.
The last time I bought a trainer, was searching for a level 5, but got a level 6 por teh same amount of money and salary! So, patience does pay.

Exactly. And since you have to pay severance fee when you buy a new trainer (severance fee equals to salary of the trainer you replaced), it's smart to fire your trainer after the training update and buy a new one after the financial update. I do that once or twice a season, because I like to buy a trainer with 40-45k salaries for small money and just replace him when he demands too much. This way I think I save more money than those who buy a 6th level 20k trainer for 1,5 million.
