A new season will be arriving shortly, which means it's almost offseason processing time. As part of every offseason, I like to update the Canadian scouting lists, and take a look at how our best prospects have been developing. To start things off, I've gone over the current 18 year olds (who will be 19 soon), and have produced some very rough player rankings. These rank lists are based on development from a U21 point of view.
Right after the draft, I highlighted which players had the best starting skills (in my opinion), and the initial list can be found here:

(19314640)This is an interesting group of prospects, with typical depth, and some real gems up near the top. Curtis Worley is one of the best 19 year old C's that Canada has ever had, and he has the chance to be Glenn Richards 2.0 if his training pace keeps up. Looking at the guards, Julian Berthelot is my pick for the best guy in his age group at this point, and he has also received an excellent first season of training.
