Today I did an update for the almost 20 year olds, and this group of prospects is very encouraging. At the moment, it looks like we are going to have depth at all positions, and several very good players with high potential. Last season, I posted up the following rough rankings:
(180149.1)After another season of training, the top guys have continued to improve at an excellent rate, and some new names have also emerged as strong candidates for future U21 duty. For fun, I've put previous rankings (from the age 19 list) in parentheses, but keep in mind that the numeric rankings are just meant to help sketch out a very general picture.

(17732206)Here are some notes I have about prospect movement / status
- I had never heard of Ciori before today, and found him on BB-stats; despite the star potential, he is a quality prospect that adds to our depth
- Singer, LaChance, and Harte are the biggest climbers. All three of those guys have received some outstanding training over the last couple of months
- I love this group of big men; Arsenault and O'Carroll should both compete for U21 jobs during their age 20 seasons, and LaChance is really surging. There is great depth behind them, and we also have Curtis Worley charging hard from one age group down. Season 18 could potentially be a great year for U21 big men, and I'm excited about it.
- In general, the number of MVP+ prospects on these lists is very high. This is a great thing for Canada, and it's likely that at least one of these guys will end up contributing to our NT one day.
