Looks like the Big 8 is stacked again with an ex-ABBLer (Adam's Guns) and a highly rated Div III team (Home Axis) promoting as well...
This Division overall is one of the hardest, but if it wasn't for our particular conference it wouldn't rate, because in comparison we by far have a stronger conference.

Could this be the season duffman finally upstages smeltz?
Theres rumors duffman's ex wants to get bak with him, can u confirm or deny these rumors mr manager?

As the manager of DFBS, I can confirm that this rumour is true but Duffman has declined her offer. She's now a free agent and Smeltz can pick her up for less than $1.50

I see there is no mention of duffman upstaging smeltz ;)
Theres another rumor on the grapevine that duffman could actually be joining smeltz @ the smeltztroopers! Hahaha inside goss is that duffman is not happy playing in div II nor is he happy wit his managers unwillingness to pay him an inflated salary, both problems will be solved by moving over to play wit smeltz

I'm coming third on the ladder - doing ok so far.

Not only am I in the stronger league, I'm in the stronger conference? Jesus... I know that "it'll make me stronger" tactically but it stunts growth in other ways.

Its only stun your growth if you dont promote before your player salaries hit div2 maximum finance.
I think max ticket price for div2 is around 350k-400k. So it will take you a while to reach that. Being in tougher league will help u prepare for abbl like it helped u prepare for div2. Last season we got 3 div3 and 2 were demoted because they werent ready.

would say good to be back but to be honest I was hoping for all other 3 leagues over this, but the challenge will be taken on :)

You were more than welcome to come join us in DivII.3 (quietly relieved you didn't though), as did a couple of ex DivII.1 teams. Steves Crocs and Northcote Slammers have landed together in the Big 8 and i'm starting to feel like i'm back in the old league! :-P

You got a lot of learning to do in this political game. You won't get any respect or fear from them until you start showing off your arsenal.
