Hello Canada,

As many of you already know I was he NT manager for the last two seasons. We managed to put together an awesome run by winning some games we had no business winning and managed to play in the Worlds for the first time in many seasons. Going forward the NT is in great shape and has more talent now than in many seasons.

My real life has been tremendously busy for the last month and will continue to be that way thru the summer. For that reason I will likely not run and hope that a qualified manager will step up and take on this excieting challenge. If there is not a suitable candidate I will join the mix as I do not want to seee Canada's NT sputter.

Thanks for the support and good luck to all the candidates.

-beanerz

Vote for me because I want to give my new point guard 48 minutes every game.

I don't know if this is exactly what you'll call a speech but I'd be glad to take the reigns if nobody else suitable wants to!

Very active manager, one of the fastest and youngest teams to ever make it to Naismith so I know what I'm doing when it comes to BuzzerBeater, quick learner, and will look after the NT like my child! I'm registered on the forums and check them with some regularity, of course if I'm elected that will become my 2nd home! Sucks beaners is leaving, seemed like the perfect guy for the job but what can you do, I'd only hope to be as successful and effective as him. Have I mentioned I waste all my free time on this website just sitting there aimlessly refreshing various pages for the fun of it? I really need to find something to do..!

Thanks, Canada!

Well I have finally decided to throw my name into consideration, here goes nothing!

Hi all, My name is Bballin and I would love to take over as Canadas NT Manager for the next two seasons. Filling GM-beanerz shoes will not be an easy task, but I will most certaintly give it my all! My team is Lightning Thunder and I have just been promoted to division II and I am excited for the challenge of division II. It took me six seasons to get to this point, so do the math... This is my seventh season in Buzzerbeater. Some people may recognize me from the NT Writeups I do in the BB-Global(English). Which I have been doing for the past two seasons now. I have received alot of positive feedback from them and hope to be able to continue them. NT/U21 wise I have gotten one player onto a U21 team and that was in Season 14 with Winston Hightower who started on my team when my team was first formed. He is now 24 and is on the NT radar.

With regards to being the NT manager my goals would be to try and equal or better the job that GM-beanerz did these last two seasons and whilst that will be a really difficult task I look forward to the challenge it will bring. Qualifying for the worlds was a great accomplishment and that is the Ultimate goal. I hope to continue to track the progress of the NT players on the radar with the great spreadsheet that has been formed by previous NT managers.

I also will be looking to continue the player saving in order to get trainees bought and eventually on the NT. I will be very active as I spend my life on Buzzerbeater and you can look forward to pre and post game writeups consisently, I want to try and get the Canadian BB community involved with the NT. Maybe ill utilise the new poll features ;)

Staying in touch with Canadian BB users is crucial as well and any BB mail I receive with requests of help or with player builds I will respond to quickly and with as much detail and help as I possibly can.

Player development, tracking, scouting, user involvement and quick help is what I will be doing in order to get the team back to the worlds, but tactics and enthusiasm are also critical. I plan to set the lineup and tactucs based not onoy on skill, but also on gameshape which is critical, also the enthusiasm I use will be dependant on the situation. I will try to save up as much enthusiasm as i can, whilst also getting the best possible results and picking my spots to CT or normal. All of tgis I will use to try and get Canada on top of the BB world, it will not be easy, I will need your support and help, but I will do everything in my power to get Canada to the top.

Anyways that was my attempt at a speech, vote for Bballin! ;)

Cheers.

Well here's a shortened speech,

I have put forth some of my ideas and plans in the debate thread just a short time ago so this will be short and to the point.

-My experience. been around since season 3. started in division III, worked up to naismith quickly, spent many seasons in naismith and a few in division II.
-I managed the U21 team for 4 seasons previously and those that have been around long enough I think the majority would say I did fairly well with the limited talent available at that time.
-I have trained players that have gone on to play for Canada U21, Canada, Iran, Malaysia, Al Jazair at one time or another

other ideas and thoughts i have toward tactics, player selection, tracking, forums, etc can be found in the debate thread or feel free to ask me.

short and sweet. I can do a good job with the team and the team has had very good managers in the past and brought the team to a strong point with the current talent available. I would continue to try to ensure that results are obtained accordingly.

First off, a disclaimer. I will have pretty limited time until September so most of my NT work will come on weekends and about an hour or so a night weekdays. I will ask for some help and hopefully get the community a little more involved in the NT process.

Now here's my crack at it.

I started in season 6 and have spent this is my third season in Naismith and I have no plans on dropping down any time soon. I want to run because I wanted to make sure their was an experienced manager in the running and someone who was committed to being the manager of the NT team and I think that I fit the bill perfectly for that.

My main qualifications are that I trained TSA, and believe I was the first in Canada to a) Create an actual PF b) Train a big man in guard skills.

I also have 2 guards who are probably on the pipeline of making the NT in the next few seasons (and of course I would run it by the community before they got called up) and am looking in a few seasons to have at least 3 Canadian NT'ers on my roster.

Other than that, I would like to set the goal all the time as advancing to the world championships and nothing less.

Oh crap. I came across the Canada NT page the other day and was immediately seduced by the big "Register" button. So why should you vote for me? Here's what I'm all aboot.

- I'm good at crucial BB tasks like setting default lineups and remembering my login info.
- I'm a great admirer of the Canadian arts. Any country that blesses us with Snow and Raffi is good with me.
- You also have some great sports teams. Detroit Red Wings ftw!
- I have a good Canadian player, and I was nice enough not to sabotage his training. You're welcome.
- I think RiP is probably a solid guy if you get to know him.
- My most endearing quality? Simple, I'm an American.

So, vote for me.* Remember, at least I'm not Ocho.

I just saw that Ocho was traded to New England. Maybe he's not such a bad guy after all?
