We should be able to select the tertiary skills that get trained through cross-training. If I don't want to train a skill, I shouldn't be forced to have it trained for me. Rebounding is a particularly expensive skill for guards and I don't want to waste a lot of money each week for a handful of additional rebounds that might otherwise be collected by my big men who are being paid to rebound.

i thik the c get paid better for those rebounds then the guards does, but don't overestimate the impact.

It is 10% of a normal training, let be optimistic and count that as 2 weeks, then you need 20 weeks till you get an full level when random choose 20 rebounding as a secondary skill which has a chanche below 1/6. So in average you get an rebounding up every 120 training(a bit more then 8 seasons of training) even under those optimistic circumstances.

Cross training sucks. I have player on US u21 and he his getting close enough to capping so i have to organize my pops. With this, he might pop with a couple rebound pops, and I will not get the player I initially wanted:

One think that I think could help this problem is have the secondary pops have their own cap, so that there arn't that many of them, and they dont affect the normal cap.

There is no way he is popping in rebound twice. Also if your player has respectable rebounding and he pops to strong while training other skill, it doesn't make a big difference in capping because, if a player as 7,9 rebounding, he is going to have pretty much the same salary than a player with 8,0 or 8,1.

Perennial all-stars cap around 95k-140k, so I don't think Carlson is that close to capping. And if he did pop in rebounding, he wouldn't be able to pop in rebounding again randomly for many many weeks, even if the cross-training somehow managed to work on rebounding every single week.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

yes i think the uncertainity for subs and how the cap is working, is much much bigger then the crosstraining and those training sn't useless.

At least i swear on multiskilled guards and bigs.

I'm not sure how I'd answer this one, but I will ask: if you were given the option to avoid skill increases from cross-training (all other effects would continue to apply; you'd just be giving up on increases with zero compensation), would you want it? If enough people actually would prefer that, it would be easy for us to implement...

next cross training would be to pop up habilities in players that u dont train, they are watching at least the games, something sure they learn ...

Or maybe some kind of coach skills... xD
