I hear that having most of a player's strength in one category negatively affects salary, maybe the lower dmi player is more one dimensional.

first respectable is not respectable.

say respectable is 7 and strong is 8, then 1 player could be 7.0 and the other 7.9 and both would be respectable.
Since game shape has a big influence on DMI, this alone could be enough to solve your question.

Further
you don't see subskills of the players either. If the skills are more or less the same, the one with the higher wage will have the higher subskills, e.g. average could be 6.8 for the higher waged player in 1 skill; where the same average skill could be 6.1 for the other player.

Mind that wages are calculated using the skills, but the skills that are more important to a player weigh more heavy in this calculation.
So a PG with respectable handling and pitiful blocking will ask more wage than a PG with respectable blocking and pitiful handling, should the other skills be the same for both players.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
