Hi

Can anyone tell me if playing a player out of position will affect his training? For eg if he is a centre and l play him as a power forward will playing him out of position affect his training. Hope this makes sense.

I apologise if this has already been covered but this is my first full season.

Cheers.

Say if a player plays 24min as Center and 24min as Small forward, and you train inside defense for centers, the player only recieves training for his 24min as center. What you want is 48min as center, any additional minutes doesn't matter regardless of position other than for Game shape which doesn't affect training.

Just to clarify, if that same C plays 48 minutes at PG in a week where you train PA for PG, he'll receive full training credit.

Like orko27 said, don't mind what position your player is at; it's a mere suggestion the game gives you. If you are training two-position trainings like Rebounding or Jump shot, your player has to have 48 minutes combined on those two positions. Example: if you are training RB for C/PF, your player can play 24 min on C one game and 24 min on PF in next game and he will get full 48 training minutes.
