I've just signed a top class C to finally finish off my team & take control of my League, but my Finances haven't come out near what I expected, based on other info I've seen, for Merchandise. I'm still waiting to see what happens on Attendance, but fear I won't see an improvement there either as the teams I play are too low on there World Rank, dispite there Country Rank being in the top 10.
I have friends that play in the English first Division & there TV contract is over $30k per week higher than the same contract in Cymru. So given that the English league isn't a top flight country either, how much are teams from those countries making additional in TV contrct alone?
If my guess at the Attendance is right as well, how are we supposed to compete with the larger countries clubs? Shouldn't a game played between two teams ranked 4th & 5th be the same in any country, pending on there ticket pricing of course, so there is an even playing field & not on the World Rank of a Club? Isn't it believed that the World Ranking system is floored at best anyway?
I understand that it is what it is & I'll make adjustments accordingly, but I thought once a team started to move it's way up the ladder then the Finances would move along with them, to a point. Mine have stood still, hence my despair!
Thanks.

OK, I'll take this in order of paragraph.

Understand your point, but this is about competing with teams in the B3 that make more per home game than we do,because there playing higher ranked WORLD TEAMS, than we do. More per week on TV contract & per week on Merchandising . If two big clubs frm any country from around the world play each other, their's a large crowd to watch.

VS just won the B3 playing this way & got greif for doing so. The teams that are renowned in this game compete at the top level season in & season out. I'm not looking to stop in every once in a while & say Hi. Where's the fun it that? If they can carry higher salary per player on average & our economy is lower than there's, how do we ever compete? Through waiting around instead of building a club. This makes sense to you?

So no top 10 B3 team has any International players on there team?

This is a game & certain criteria should be even, TV contracts being one. Merchandising should go up or down based on Players you have or Results you have. I lost an additional $1k for bring in basically Shaq. Does that make sense to you. Your team signs Shaq & no one buys his Jersey?

That's my whole point, this part of the game is seems to be wrong & the whole B3 for life thing, $20k for each win in Round Robin stage, not much for the salary you have to carry to win. Granted it is something though.

Alot of things don't make sense? Come on, that's just a statement. This is a game. The decsions we make should change the outcome not the criteria in place play a roll.

I guess what I'm looking for is the reason why this is the case. I'm sure they do it for a reason, to keep things even or something, but I don't see what that something is as I can't see any leveler on our side.

You play in the lowest division in Your country, so I think Your TV contract should be even few times smaller ;-)

That makes sense, most of your posts do I was looking to compete on the B3 stage consistantly, which means carrying that higher salary, even with other top B3 teams, rather than just fight with other teams in the CBBL, which with all due respect to them, isn't much competition right now.
It is easier in a small country such as ours, but once you make the big show, you don't just want to be part of the crowd, if you make good choices, I'd hoped that I could carry there salary. Maybe I got this too soon & that's why.
I know I have to juggle somethings, as my Salary is above a lot of teams right now, so I'll see where I'm at once I changed out my bench to line up with the new starters & system I want to run.
Thanks for the thoughts ;)
