My opponent this Saturday has his normal starting PF injured and his backup is only decent. I'm looking to gain an advantage through the PF position, since I think he'll play M2M, so I was wondering if there would be a better option than Inside Isolation to specifically get my PF to take the most shots on my team? Would LI or LP be a better option for my PF despite my opponent having a good Center, limiting my own Center from not scoring much? I personally think the Iso offenses aren't all that great, but am willing to play it if I can gain an advantage through it.

Can anyone link some games where Inside Isolation was relatively successful, so I can see how many shots each position took? If someone could also link some games where a team played Inside Iso against a 2-3 zone, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

my inside Isolation experienced ended up in shooting a lot of threes, with low rate ;) So at least i agree with your fear of inside Iso, but the outside one isn't that bad.

Which exploits missmatches better i would think is LP, even when i mostly play LI cause it is easier to set up the offence.

What is the difference between LI and LP anyway?

Concerning drives, besides gaurds, what is your small forwards have good driving skills? Would there be more drives from small forwards as well?

From what I've seen they work in reverse. Outside Iso, brings double teams to those players, so they pass it off to Inside guys. Inside Iso, double team, pass off to the Outside.
If your 4-5 can handle & pass try that, if they can't do Outside Iso. Both of these systems are Base Offense orientated though. If there is a weakness at the 4, then I'd play Look Inside, it's the favourite offense for a reason ;)

I can see that inside isolation could be a success. However, I tried to follow the above example, and played the players out of their natural positions. So far I did not have any fortune yet. Any idea for inside isolation? Improve inside scoring skills or driving skills?

Two defeats for me against strong teams:
(58793842) and (56322931)

Besides the offence strategy, shall I try to use outside box and one as well?

Everyone has tried playing players out of of their more natural positions and almost everytime people have had disappointing results. You would think that you're creating mismatches on offense but the game engine rarely seems to agree.

But it's hard to tell you what offense to play without seeing all of your player's skills, I would just keep experimenting but you'll likely come to the same conclusion that most people have. LI for an inside offense and Motion for an outside offense.

I think high DR and decent IS players can do pretty well in this offense. THe thing though is that it doesnt fully isolate one player like we perhaps think it should. It tries to find him and if he doesnt have a good shot he will pass it to someone else with better looks.
It is a offense that will involve pretty much all your team and that needs pretty good PA on all of your players.

I am a little more confused than I was before. I ran it finally in my PL game this week and set up my lineup intentionally to ensure that my trainee Henry Busch was the best inside scorer - and he did end up taking a lot of shots, but surprisingly he had almost no assists despite pretty serviceable passing, and a different trainee ended up being the guy who ended up with the most assists. (58761990) I can't really draw a lot of conclusions yet since I was facing a particularly awful SF, but the passing/handling/driving all around seems to be effective in this offense just like all the others.
