I can not control merchandising, but I can see in my economics that I have 30000 lower than average in my leaigue. How can I increase this income?

If I were you I would lower the wages of your player, by selling some of them and buy some new ones, good ones, but not as good as the previous ones, or you could simply increase arena on 20.000 and increase the cost of the tickets ;)

which wouldn't change his merch income.

He has few players from his nation or national player, which are point who help merchandise a lot.
