Go to a player page, and choose the "View Transfer History" button. Use the Back button in your browser to go back to the player page. Now choose "Season 1" in the stats season selection menu. In FF 2.0.0.7 at least, you will end up back in the transfer history instead of seeing the "Season 1" stats.

Edit: I can't reproduce this in IE7.
