How big of a drop in attendance can I expect to see now that inter-conference play has wrapped up? I raised my prices to account for the promotion bonus, but am unsure if I should lower them back down now that the promotion bonus is over. I'm undefeated in league play right now and am scoring 5 balls across the board on the fan survey (with the exception of the stupid "I am familiar with the star players..." statement)

Current prices:

Bleachers : 6000 (Current Price: $12)
Lower Tier : 1000 (Current Price: $36)
Courtside Seats : 200 (Current Price: $110)
Luxury Boxes : 8 (Current Price: $800)

The promotion bonus isn't over, it lasts all the season. I think it's possible that it weakens slowly during the season while the current record gradually gains importance. If you're going 7-0, there is no reason to expect a drop. I see your arena is full, what you need is actually to increase your ticket's prices. Quick ! The next update is coming soon ! It's almost now !

From what I can see in your attendance figures you are doing very well. You are selling out most if not all of your games. The drops in attendance happen when you play inferior teams. What you really need to be looking at is your season ticket holders ratio to the number of seats your arena has, and how competitive your league is. If you are still selling out when you face the weakest team in your league. Then maybe it is a good time to increase prices or expand the arena.

Thanks to both of you. Didn't realize the bonus lasted all season. I'll raise my prices and see what happens....

From experience the bonus tends to last more until the end of interconference play, though if you're still undefeated or close to it you should be fine.

I would also agree that the promotion hype dies down a little bit more after interdisional play, because that is what happened to me. The season after I promoted I raised my prices prices because my division was easier and because the playoff games, but doing so sacrificed a good chunk of attendance. I know this is after the time you can change your prices for interdivisonal play, but I think the prices you set are very good. I might have kept your Lower tier at 36, because you only had two games since you built the seats. You didn't sell out in your Private league game (which means nothing, I know, but it can help you with seat pricing and attendance) but then you did sell out in your League game agains the Wolves, who are second in your division. Against a lousier team I would say that you would not sell out, but you will still stay around 900-1000. Not sure how much difference two dollars will make the attendee's mind, but overall your pricing is very good.

I love your arena. Other than the bleachers, which I am assuming you are about to build more since you are selling out and didn't raise the prices, it is exactly the same.

Thanks for the advice. Looking at your arena and prices, it looks like I can expect attendance to start tapering off at the prices I've set. I'm surprised you're not selling more of your lower level seats. Were your prices higher before the update?

Yes, I revamped all my arena prices.
