Hi all,

i have a question. One of my players recently popped from anything to "keyplayer" as a role. What does this exactly mean? (i can suggest what i does mean but there is surely something more behind it -> this is my basic question). But what exactly needs a player do to be a key player?

In detals: that this particular player did a good job in the recent games i can see by myself. But does this also have any affect in upcoming games (means: does he now scores better than before)? And at the end of the season. Is he getting more salary for in the next season? And should i now train this particular player in something particular (he is a sf)?

Thanks for answering my question,
Thomas

Those are suggestions, you can either consider them or ignore them. It's up to you.

Personnally, I usually ignore them.

The roles are still pretty much experimental (hence buzzer-beta). They don't mean much yet, if anything. At best, they tell you who played many minutes in your league games and who didn't.

the rules give you maybe a little hint when you scout other teams, and are offensiv only measurement. So a keyplayer is a dude who scores a lot in your team.

There is no advantage in the game, or merchandise(ok scoring a lot probadly means higher merch from the player) for it.
