I know, the fastest way to train, is 1 position at SG. But since I need more then 1 player to receive training, 2 position is the way I need to go. My question is, would you train, outside shooting for PG/SG or for Wingmen?

Thanks in advanced. Any justification for you vote is greatly appreciated.

Poll:  Would you train PG/SG or Wingmen for 2 position Outside Shooting?

PG/SG
Wingmen

You know that you're able to train 3 players with single-position training...?

I agree with GM-Nick, in that if you have one main trainee you're targeting for JR improvement, you might as well do one position. Then if you're worried about a guy doing all 48 min in a game and underperforming, then you can just start him in two games and he'll be assured of 48+. You'll be wasting some possible training minutes for other guys, but perhaps you're ok with that. And in that case you can get a second guy the full 48+ in the weekly scrimmage.

I answered PG/SG for your poll, only because if I were doing 2 position JR, typically the guys I want to have improved JR are already usually guard types, so they'd perform better at PG and SG than SG and SF.

In general though JR is one of those skills that I would definitely train one position, due to its slow rate of increase, and the fact that there's only a couple positions where you definitely need to have good JR. This is different than say OD, where it's good to have high OD everywhere (and so I can see the logic of 2 position training that, even if it's a bit slow) or PA (which isn't terribly slow at 2 position training anyway, and is incredibly good to have on all your players).

Yeah, same here. SF or PF don't need a lot JR. Apart from the exceptions such as a Princeton PF, of course.

You can do what ever you feel like but a little advice, you have a 18 year old hall of fame potential guy. If you are not going to single position train him then sale him and make some money and but you a allstar potential. Other wise you will never even come close to his potential and you are leaving cash on the table.
