Just a suspect... don't know yet if it's a real bug

From the rules for tactics:
2-3 Zone: Increased inside defense and rebounding at the expense of a lot of perimeter defense. Somewhat slow pace.

Based on several match box-scores, the Italian community has the feeling that not only are the defensive rebounds increased by selected defensive tactic (as it should be), but also the offensive rebounds.

Here is one example (2296496)

Could you please confirm or deny this theory?

As I understand it, 2-3 zone visibly increases the rebounding rating for the match. Which should increase both offensive and defensive rebounds.

I think it should NOT.
Why my offensive rebounding should be affected by my defensive tactic? I see it as an unjustified advantage for teams playing with 2-3 zone.

I was just pointing out it looks like this is the way it appears to functions. It is probably not entirely logical.

This is correct, as far as I know.

What's correct? That it works this way, or that it was intentionally designed to (i.e. it should) work this way?

I assume both.

All right, well count me in with the camp that would call this a bug. A defensive tactic should affect defensive rebounding only.

I wouldn't call it a bug if it's designed that way intentionally.

A design flaw? Perhaps.

(I know it's probably semantics but there is a distinction)

If it is intentional, I'd suggest some clarity in the rules about the defensive tactic choice really being a defense+rebounding tactic.

But, really, I think it's a clear bug/flaw/mistake. Offensive tactics should have an impact on offensive rebounding, e.g. Run and Gun should have a negative OR impact. And this should be reflected in the description of offensive tactics in the rules.
