Sometimes I find myself thinking about which of my players will make the all star game. BB doesnot show the voting and rosters until the day before or the day of the game. I think it would be a good idea to have a glance of the leaders throughout the season. Not after every game, but maybe after 6 games we can have the initial voting results. Then a 2cd update after about 10/11 games...and finally the final roster when its all star weekend. It would allow for some drama following players who are moving into all star spots or dropping out of it during the course of the season.

Actually this will create more load on servers.

There was a proposal - I don't remember if here or on the italian forums - to let users vote for which players on their league will play at ASG (of course nobody can vote for their own player, only other players) just like NBA where fans can vote.
When I have more time I'll dig up that topic (or translate it, if it's in italian).

I was just diggin' the foruns looking for new ideas about the ASG and i bumped on this thread...I was having a little chat with a german user about being persistent when launching this suggestions and i'm glad to see people who share the idea that something must be done about the ASG...
And, by the way, modesty aside, i think the idea of having a real ASG vote is really good...:).I don't understand a single thing about programming but the main question could lie on what it takes (in terms of programming and game engine) to make any change happen...

Well I can say to you that there are much more complicated things on BB, this change wouldn't be so hard. HOW hard, I can't know, but definetly it's not hard.
