Hi all,

This is my first all star week and was wondering what people do for training, as there is only two games, Saturdays League game and Thurs scrimmage game. Do ppl switch to team training for the week, like free throw or stamia? or do they maintain there 1x1 or 2x2 training and drop off a trainee or two for the week?

Cheers

I usually do team training, and I know some others do too, but you can really do either, whatever works best.

My plan is to single-position train my best trainee as priority #1. I could team train free throws or stamina but then that will be wasted considering I'm training for the future.

This year I'm just going to single position train a couple big guys who haven't trained for a while (I'm doing guard training now). However, some seasons I've fired my trainer on saturday/sunday the week before the all-star break. Then I'll do 2-3 weeks of FT and stamina while only paying 2k/week for the trainer. Then hire a new one monday-thursday the week you want to start real training again. Saves a decent bit of money.

Actually not a bad strategy. Could save about 50k, doing that.

If you want to change your trainer, this is a good time....
