I've never been clear on this:

Would a CT with a 10 enthusiasm produce a much more effective performance than, say, a CT with a 5 enthusiasm?

My intuition tells me, "but of course, you big dummy" -- but has this ever been verified, much less quantified?

to make it a bit... crystal clear:
if you have 5 on enthusiasm and your opponent has 10 and you both play it normal, it's actually like you are playing normal effort and him playing CT (if you both had 5 at enthusiasm)... exactly because his 10 enthusiasm...
now... if he has an enthusiasm of 10 and still plays CT, it's like a bloody VST just hit you :)

all the best!

I've been wondering about something...
Let's say one team has Enth. 5 and the other has 10.
Is there a difference if both teams play Normal and if both teams play CT.

If they play Normal, difference in effort should be 10-5 = 5.
If CT however, doubles the effort put, this means 10x2-5x2 = 10

In other words, if both teams CT, the team with a higher enthusiasm should have a greater advantage, than if they both played Normal... regardless of the fact that they put the same effort in each occasion.

One lucky fan might be Kobe Bryant playing because he was bored with nothing to do in the NBA lockout.
