A FCP, from its description, doesn't give any extra inner or outer advantage, in fact it sacrifices defense and rebounding, in return for the opponent commiting more turnovers. And your players have to have good stamina else it would not be effective.

If you don't have great outside fenfenders that you can trust om playing man to man, 3-2 will do the trick.-

No, but if you have more depth than your opponent it isn't horrible... it has its place.

A situation like this: (36137897) vs. a DII playoff team (longtime former NBBA team). Look at how badly I lost in the matchup ratings! (especially since i played RNG without any shooting...) Yet won by 23 points. Better than when I used "normal" tactics vs. him & only won by 9 points -- despite 22 more rebounds.

Full Court Press is the worst defense in most cases..

I wouldn't have outscored him by 25 points in the 4th quarter with a 2-3 zone! also, it amazingly kept my players from fouling! i know it's just one game, but i have 11 foul quarters sometimes. So only 14 fouls for the game is outstanding for me. I've even won a couple DIII playoff games only because of FCP. (vs. a team with much higher salaries i would otherwise have lost to).

If you have weak inside def, weak rebounding, weak stamina and/or opponent has great passers (offensive flow) - then NO. But you can experiment against various opponents in friendlies to get a good feel when does it work.

You produced great team ratings despite the fact FCP lowers your ratings, so your case may not be representative. It's certainly very useful against a weaker team when you want as much point difference as you can. Against a stronger team, FCP is horrible.

So I'd advise either M2M or 3-2. If your C is very good rebounder (certainly better than his) and your PF doesn't have atrocious OD, I'd go even with 1-3-1.
