Good day, I am thinking to win a league and there is no way without cool players. I am thinking of buying couple super players next week but I also need to buy them at the latest as possible, so other players in the league would not have time to react and buy counter players. But there is one problem - I think market will be different than usual and there will be greater good quality player demand which will cause increase in price.

I would like to ask experienced players, how market behaved in the past?

The prices on the market has always increased during the last couple of weeks of the season as everyone is buying up for their playoff/relegation run.

Expect to pay slightly more than what it would be during the middle of the season

I'd choose a slightly different path. I'll be conected to BB practically on any chance I got from Monday to Wednesday, basically, because there you have les managers conected, therefore, less competition.
If your rivals try to counter your buying, they'll have to overpay more than you.
Right now, I see more inside than outside players. The closer to the deadline we are, the more you'll have to pay. If you want inside players, now is the time, the TL is full of great post players.

Something else I noticed is that you also have more chances of nagging better prices when the player is a free agent, and his owner appears as retired...

The natural tendency will be for a slight increase in prices, but there are always bargains, especially during times when less users are online. Waiting until very close to the deadline can be a risk, because you will have less players to choose from and may end up overpaying
