It'd be nice, and realistic, to see the tactical choices before the game is over. Either right at the beginning or sometime in the first half. In real life you'd see how the other team is playing you at some point early in the game.

Many people have asked for some fun stats etc. for the half time break. Some sort of tactics analysis would fit there perfect.

Maybe they could sneak it into the commentary somehow?

I also like this suggestion. Especially since right now usually the boxscore often is not displayed right after the game it would be nice to see what kind of a tactical choice the opponent made. So either at halftime (which would make it more fun to watch than just wait 15 Minutes) or at least at the end of the game so that you can see in game what happened.

I voted No. Don't think this adds anything to the game. It can even have a negative effect, since the more info you have about tactics, the less mistery is there to the final outcome.

Furthermore, you could easily guess what offense your oponent is playing by looking at the shot distribution during the match.
Defense used can also be revealed by following the in-game comentary. For example, if you see your opponent's SF is guarding your SG, it is a hint that he's using 3-2.

That's a fair point. So why don't we look at a third, middle-ground option? We have all agreed that it would be nice to have some stats showing up at halftime, just to make it less plain and boring. So why not add some team stats, like "% shots at the rim", "%shots from X to Y feet", "% 3-pointers", to give you some clues to the tactics being deployed. By % I mean percentage of the total shots, but we could also add the info showing how effective each type of shot has been, to see what areas are being defended more efficiently, etc. Just an idea...
