some reasons that i think...

1. his sub level of JR is really low and his JR is already at a certain level
2. his height affects the training speed also given that he is 6'6 and jr is a guard skill
3. the new cross training effect acts on the rebounding since his rebounding is also relatively low (?)
4. potential does not affect the training speed

don't know if this is right...

please correct me if i'm wrong BBers :)

I have an all-time great 25 year old who I have trained on single position training for 4 weeks (and in every week he has received over 48 minutes) for Jump Range.

He has not popped a single time (he is still far away from his cap) - until this week that he improves on rebounding.

Now 4 weeks of single position training and not a single pop in the area I have put him to train just seems way wrong.

In comparison the other player getting training for those 4 weeks is an MVP 20 year old - he has had 3 pops in jump range - now I know he is younger and he will train much faster but the difference seems way too big to me.

Can anyone enlighten me??

5 years younger + 13cm taller, that sounds like a reason to me...
Anyway, you may be very lucky with the 3 and rather unlucky with 0 ups on those two guys.
Who else did you train and how many ups did he receive?

We have both said a lot of things that you are going to regret.
