How big a deal is it to hit 48+ Minutes. What I'm asking is this, if you get 45-47 minutes will that be fine, or should you really scramble to get those last few minutes?

I try to Rest my Main 2 in the Scrimmage after playing 48 in the First Game, this way they can Start in the 3rd Game (non-training position) but not Back Up or 3rd... this way I don't kill Game Shape by playing them way to much but they still get 48 Training Minutes and another Start in a need to win game (non-Scrimmage). So the idea is to sit them the entire Scrimmage.

I blew a team out and even though I had the line up set to Strictly Follow I see my SF and PF get pulled with 2 minutes left in the 4th (stamina issue, perhaps?). Now, I can make them 3rd in the Scrimmage and get 2 Minutes probably, but then I knock another player out of his 48 Minutes (why couldn't the scrubs that came in be Trainees? LOL!)

So, just how big a drop is 45-47 Minutes from 48, and is going over 48 (the 48+) of any benefit or should you attempt to land square on the 48?

It's debatable, but think that with 48+ you get 100% trainning. If you get 47 minutes it's like 98%, 46 like 96% and so.

it has been very debated. No one knows for sure, and unless someone sacrifices a couple of seasons training 18 yo and giving them 40-47 minutes we will never find out(same heights too, same level coach). They say that the training drops exponential, so chances are the 80% Manon is telling you about has a good chance of being accurate

One of my trainees played 44 minutes at centre, and he also played 33 minutes at PF. Should I still go for one position training? Or I should switch into two position training?

i.e. 44 minutes for one-position training or 48 minutes for two-position training, which one is better in this case?

Yup, Perpete was right ... haha...

Anyway, I plan to go for one-position training even 44 minutes.

I've always assumed it was the percentage of 48 minutes squared, so if a player get exactly 36 minutes, it is .75*.75=56.25% of maximum training. In the case of the a player with approximately 44 minute would be something like .9*.9=81% of maximum training. I usually keep it at one position training unless I screw up on a young guy and can get him the full trained by at two position instead.
