There is a chance that it is already defined, as I didn't try it yet, but it would be nice to have sound in the games.

First, it makes the game a more multimedia, interactive and just more fun.

Second, when you need to watch other things, to hear the game is a great soultion.

The drawback may be that it would cost coding time and intertnet band.
Due to all that, I guess it is a very low priority feature, but definately one that is good to add.

Good one, as long as you can choose to turn it off.

Turning-off is simple.

In case you find it worthless, I would say that there are some that may find it usefull.
There are times you cannot watch the game or do not want to waste time only on it, but would like to know what happens.

You mean like a voice reading the commentary? Or a little crowd sound that cheers and sighs every time a shot is made or missed? You want to know what happens, but more than the score? I would think that if I didn't want to waste time or had better things to do, the sound of the crowd disappointed at every brick thrown would be a little annoying... But if they add this feature, I have no problems, as long as you can turn it off

1) Turning-off is something that is always part of a feature like this, so no problem in that.

2) It can have all, and switched by the user.
Multimedia - It may be more fun not just watching the game but also hearing the crowd along with the broadcasting of the game (voice-wise).

The last is also very useful when you cannot see the game but would like just to here it parallel of whatever you're doing.

No. Less processing, less resources needed is key for this game.

The first issue regarding any feature is whether it is a needed feature.
Then it will be the developers desicion to decide does it worth it - processing time, coding time etc.

I think this is more than just a "nice to have" feature, but not a "top priority" one.
It will make the game more fun and alive one, but mostly it will allow users that cannot or do not want to lose their time watching a game just to listen to it.

From the numerous threads you started on suggestion forum I am yet to spot one I would found that is needed, that I wouldn't think of that is a nonsense and that I would like to be added to the game. Because those are usually just one person's preference, I (as others in the other threads) focused on what negative impacts it could have. In this case there is not much, except it being annoying and would be a waste of BB's tiem and resources. My two hellers.

You do realise that the BBs do not have endless resources where they can hire people in to do sound recordings for "commentary" like a ESPN broadcast or something out of NBA2k12.

Who said the this feature is needed to a high quality and a hard computation feature?
Make it (at start) as simple as reading the very few sceanrios that could be.
Even just record the result change.
Make it sound mechanically at start.

And again, as I already wrote - the first question is whether it is needed and how much.
Then, the task of deciding whether it is hard to code and does it worth the time and work upon this coding price (and other) is the developers part.

Nothing to comment to your message as it is so "specific".
