When one want to participate in an auction, but just does not want to loose all time waiting for the reaction in those three minutes he will probably switch to another site (tab) and will want to return to the site after few short minutes to verify whether he needs to raise the bid.
He may forget doing so and by that losing the auction.

The suggestion is that an auction could be marked and when the clock reaches one minute (for example) before auction ends there will be a sound indicating just that.

I guess headphones are something unheard of...

And having a built-in buzzer before an auction ends and as part of the game is ofcourse very not reaistic.
It is much more reasonable to set it at our cell-phone/IPhone.
Besides, having it as part of the site just interfer with the idea of BB managing.

I'll try beating this level of my sarcasm next time...

Actually I´d love a FIREWORK once the training update is there.

About players - ever tried an alarm clock or maybe even your mobile phone? I know, this is so unconvenient, but it really works. Just like it works with putting food into the oven ... though I admit, most ovens have some kind of an alarm clock function ...

Well let's see what a person do...
1) He will use it w/o speakers.
2) He wil use speakers
or...
3) He will not use the feature!!! [No harm for him comparing to current status...

It is not about who is to blame. It is about making things more user freindly!!!
User friendly does not mean that the game is being easier, as the goal in this game is not loosing time waiting for an auction event to happen.

Why not organizing the line-up in 10 different pages? Why not making it harder? [This is your line of thought]

I wrote that it is INSTEAD of using alarm clock or cell-phone.
It is just for making things more friendly for the user.

Defining a game or any product is also about user-friendly.
And it isn't a small part of a product... It is very important in that...

Yeah yeah, just kidding to some degree

Still I´d like to see some responsibility still on the coaches / players shoulders, so you shouldnt start mickey-mousing everything. Responsibility is key, and even if you lost an auction because your thought went off with another topic for just that 10 seconds too long you might win the next one because of the same thing happning to someone else...

There is no reason to just stare at the LCD for an hour and taking a single action once every few minutes.

Why not making it more user-friendly?

The more automated and arcade a game gets, the less challenging it is. The less challenging it is, the less fun it will be. I really like game sounds when something happens. We might agree on this alarm thingy as a Supporter Feature, to encourage players to buy the package though.
