Dear Belgians,
I’ve decided to run for the position of U21-coach in your country.
Who am I?
GM-Arsjitekt, a 28 year old male, from The Netherlands. I studied Architecture on the University in Delft, unfortunately that is a branche which is falling apart right now. I’m playing Buzzerbeater for quite some time now. I’ve been NT-Coach of The Netherlands for 6 seasons, and according to my followers I’ve done a good job with qualifying 3 times for the European Championship and getting 4th in the Consolation Tournament. I also achieved getting the dutch team from 28th placed world ranking to place 12 for a while. I've started with a team in the III, and recently I’ve become the Dutch champion. And now I’m in need of a new challenge.
Reasons for application
There are a few reasons for this application in your country
- I’ve always been interested in training a U21-team. Actually I trained a NT-team for 6 seasons, but what I really wanted was a U21-team. Why a U21 and not a NT-team, you might ask. Because the environment for a U21 is more dynamically. I think the skills of the managers might be put more to the test.
- Why not running in my own country for U21-coach? Currently the Netherlands has a hardworking U21-coach, who deserves another period for the U21. Besides that I like the guy, so I don’t want to stand against him. Also I’m familiar with the dutch environment and running for U21 coach in a different environment, would make the job more interesting
- Belgium has more potential than my own country. I always try the get the most out the teams I work with, seen the amount of users in your country. That potential should be bigger, so in your country a bigger achievement should be possible.
- I like your country. And till now your NT-coach has made a good impression to me, he seems to me like somebody you can work with very well. Short said you should potentially have a better environment than the country I come from.
Goals
- Getting the most out of your countries U21-team, and creating the best environment for the Belgian U21-teams to come. I don’t know yet what getting the most out of your players will be. It all depends on the players which are available. If it means a lot of work on setting up the underlying scouting + training structure, than that will be what I’ll try to do. I’ve got experience with this, even though I know this is a relatively slow process, and the profit might not be there in this U21-period.
What will I do when I start?
- Analyze what current scouting/training structure you have and build further on it. Off course I’d like the people which are involved now with the U21 and NT to work with me to a better Belgian squad.
- Analyze the current U21-squad, to see what is possible
- Adapt me to the Belgian environment
- I’ll try to keep you informed as best as I can. In what extend this will be, depends also on who wants to work with me.
I hope I have proven to you, that I’m tactically and strategically a suitable candidate. Please vote for me!
If you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer these.
Greetings and have a good season,
GM-Arsjitekt
