Just wanted to say thanks for the fun couple of seasons in V.72! I think it will have been good prep for my team going into D4.

It will certainly be interesting to see how things shake out this season. The Eagles and the Vipers really came on strong towards the end of the year, and should probably build on that success. But then there's the Tigers, who join V.72 after a stint up in D4. They'll probably be tough. MrWinless and the greeners are still around of course, though will they have the cash to make some additions and strengthen their lineups?

Overall the draft results didn't look that great. The greeners did seem to get a nice draft pick in round 3, with good starting salary and potential. Train him up and he could be pretty good. Anyone else get anything decent? My first pick was ok in terms of starting salary and had MVP potential, but his skill breakdown wasn't good.

One other thing, I encourage you all to come check out the USA offsite forum, at: http://s3.zetaboards.com/BuzzerBeater_USA_NT/index/

Register there, and then send jfarb (28800) a BBmail, with the email you used so he can activate your account. It's not just stuff about the USA NT and U21 teams. There is a big section about strategies, important skills, and sections for teams to detail their progress and get advice on training, tactics, etc. It's a great community too, and you'll be able to get help and pointers from some of the best managers in BB, including people in the NBBA, and D2 leagues.

In fact, there's an 8 page thread there that details my last two seasons here in V.72. In it, you can find the skill levels of every single one of my players, so you can see what they were good at, and how I used them. Also you'll see how I trained Patrick Duff (20740806), Jan Hanson (19243194), and Greg Lloyd (19242311). All of those guys I trained from their starting skills, and though they weren't on many of the top 10 stat lists, by the end of the year they owned (especially on defense. Contrary to the greeners's opinion, I did have an outside D).

So I hope you'll all register and come check it out.

Kudos to OSyouthclub22 for joining the offsite. Hope you enjoyed my team thread. I'm sure you read it, read it again, and read it once more, no? :P

Seriously though, thanks for joining, feel free to put your own team thread up, or just get involved in the community. Lots of good folks there.

The Eagles are my choice for winning it this year! But I'm sure there'll be some good battles ahead.

I haven't had the chance to read many of the threads in the offsite yet. I've been pretty busy lately, but I will when I get the time.

I just took my first step to winning the league this year by beating Alliance Knights. I still have a long way to go, with some tough opponents left. I hope you are adjusting and preforming well in your league, tangosz. Best of luck to you, and hopefully I will see you in the same division next year.

And Zambruno leads the Eagles to a crucial 2 point win at home over new league team demotee Missouri Tigers! Great job, and nice 4-0 record. It looks good on you. Very slimming! :)

Phew, that was a close one. I was sweating those last few minutes. Glad to get the win and go 4-0. My team should have an easy time this week and next, then face Mr Winless at their arena.
