Had a 20-2 record with a 813 Point differential!

Does it matter that I lost in the semi-finals instead of the finals? This is D5 by the way, I thought there would of been a lot of bots in D4.

I'm only a little upset because the league im in now only has one other human controlled team. It's just not fun winning by 50 every game lol

Unfortunately the first requirement is winning your conference during the regular season, so since you finished second you had no shot at bot promotion.

Well, really only people who win the championship should promote, so you can't really say it's "not fair". lol

Agreed. Technically, the winners of the league are the ones with the opportunity of promotion based on performance and how much they deserve the increase in level. It is only in the instances when additional teams with actual managers (usually far better than the bots) are needed in upper divisions that non-league winners are called up for bot cleanup.

And as far as "fair," in the real world, just because you win your league, you are not necessarily guaranteed to promote. And when you do (or relegate), it is a really big deal. See the Buenos Aires riot this year. The system often works where the higher leagues pick who they want to invite into their ranks from the lower divisions.

If you keep winning games and improving your roster, you will make it to the top of your league eventually.

I say BS! He should have moved up. We have a team in IV-39 with no players [3 now from the draft last I looked]. In the lower divisions IV and V they admins should be putting humans against humans as much as possable to promote a better game. For the top divisions tt should be promotion as won. [assuming there are far fewer "bots" at that level also]. Just my 2 cents!

There are currently zero bots in Divisions 1,2, and 3. The bot cleanup takes all of the bots out of the highest divisions making it more competitive. So it's BS he didn't promote? Win the freaking league OR at least win the conference and you have a shot.

I sure wish someone would take this into account when Alabama who will likely finish #3 in the SEC and still get to play for the National Championship!!! ugh!! College football needs a playoff; bad!!!

They didn't let Michigan/OSU have a replay in 2006....let's hope the human poll voters do the same thing they did back then.

Hope so!! We can give a million examples of how flawed the system is...but to me, right now, one example that epitomizes the problem as much as any is you have 1 loss Oregon, and 1 loss Alabama, with both losing their only game to LSU, but Oregon lost on the road, and Alabama lost at home, and yet Alambama is ranked ahead of Oregon. Something seriously wrong the whole system :-(

Alabama is ahead because of the human polls, and the margin of their defeat. Oregon got manhandled at a neutral site game and they traveled well to Jerry's dome. I don't agree with your example for that reason and because you have to look at the rest of their schedules. Oregon hasn't beaten anyone and Alabama has Penn State and Arkansas. Stanford is who should be PISSED.
