I've already put up a poll, you might as well start answering it. the Seasons Preview should be posted in this thread before the end of the week. And don't forget to read the U21 candidacies aswell as to vote for in the U21 election this season. We need to get the ammount of votes up again, and let's hope for a slightely more lively debat this season than the past few seasons.

And by making this post, it means that season 18 has officially started for the BBBL teams ;)

ps: before any confusion is created: This forum isn't the place to talk about the U21 election! please use the correct topics to debate about it. What is stated about, is to remind those that their is an election going on (i'm not taking part in it, so i don't consider the reminder as campaigning. If any GM, LA or Mod would consider it as campaigning, feel free to remove the first allinea, aswell as the ps i just created. My goals by mentioning it here is to remind people to read the candicacies and to vote for the person they believe is the best candidate, aswell as taking part or starting up the debate to know the candidates a bitt better.)

gotta love the guy who voted for the option: non of the teams mentioned here above. i took the 8 PO teams + strongest non PO team (being Giants) in the poll... So clearly, someone is trying to tell me that i'm overlooking a team...

if you sell Lequellec, then that is big news. Chorev isn't a very big impact player, it just means that if Lequellec or Mees faul out, that thier is a bitt of a gap in your defence. never the less, even with one gap, you still have Thys, Gilmont, Vercaigne and Mees/lequellec, which still causes more than enough trouble for the other teams...

If it ain't Joe, then i'd vote Ventola. Sum blew alot of cash last season and should sell his players cheaper with a small percentage on it, so i don't think he can actually make a real case this season.

Mizu should be interesting. Of all the teams the BBBL teams, he seems to be the only one taking it step by step. he keeps on improving, The only player Mizu seems to be missing is a player that can really play the SF spot for his team... maybe by selling one of his guards, he might be able to bring that extra player to take up the role as a SF player...

I think Joe has that magical touch....the right sense to do more with his money than any of us.
Moreover he has the best team....because he himself has built it....shaped it right.

And because everyone fears him....we gave him a licence to kill....and almost nobody ever tried to win anymore.
It will last untill Joe has his first worldchampionship. He deserves it besides all those financial monsters in some countries.

I agree that Arlon have a problem in the SF position. I think that Van Braekevelt is trained to take the SF position because he was trained inside last season. So we will see if he can use him soon.

It's true i've been looking for a great SF for ages, Van Braekevelt looks nice but he's not the kind of player that will ultimately change the course of a season... but i'll find my SF! (one day...

how aobut you buy a belgian player, train him as a SF? i'd be a very happy NT coach then :D
