Hey everybody
I lost my game 3 final against a very worthy opponent. The game could have gone either way, and, whilst im not bitter about losing, I am bitter about his PF's offensive game on the night.

Here is the game link.

(39288420)

So at one stage his PF was on 12-12 shooting. He ended up 14-17 shooting. Most if not all (except his 3) shots (especially the first 12) were from inside the key.

He was matched up against a guy who has an ID of 13 for most of the 12-12 shooting. My overall enthusiasm would have been slightly higher on the night, even though we both POCT. The player himself is a good player. I wouldnt say a superstar, but certainly for his salary, certainly does put up good numbers.

So im just curious if anyone has some suggestions about how/why players go off like this? Like, the dude was on fire from the outset.
anyone have any experiences like this, or can provide me more info? Im at a bit of a loss and can only assume something totally unrelated to the player, such as the SG's passing, or something random like that.

His PF must have great secondaries to outmatch your PF like that. This would also explain why your PF fouled out. And HCA did a little help too.

If you look at his statistics from previous season (S17), you will see he has a great percentage of shooting for a salary that small (0.534) and he also shoots a lot of FT, which only confirms my theory.

His two SGs that he put on PG and SG have nice assist stats, so they too improved his PF's shooting by dishing decent assist to him.

yer he shoots not too bad a percentage, but, his whole team did all year,

its a funny one, because my C shot pretty good. yet his SG and my PG both had horrible shooting games.

So it kinda evened out in the end. but still. 12-12. i was super peed off.

and it was 75-75 at the 3 minute mark or something like that.

so close.
