What is the best defense for the motion offense? maybe a stupid question, but ive always been told, you wont know till you ask. lololol

3-2 is the most used (And I suffered it), and in some cases 1-3-1 works. I wouldn't suggest the second because is too outside oriented, and you'd be giving up too much rebounds. But it can work in some cases.

Man... I wish I saw this a week ago. The team I played for the championship in my league ran Motion, and I used a 1-3-1 against him. I lost game one by 1 point and lost game two by 12. Now I'm wondering if I could have won or at least pushed a game three with a 3-2 defense.

You'd probably could have won at least one game, but you should definitely would have more rebounds.
I believe, although, that he had a much better team. His SG was unstopable. You should probably work on your OD this year.-

I would play 3-2 zone also but sometimes it might defend on your players, in some situations depending on your roster 1-3-1 can help, but I would prefer 3-2 zone also.

use 3-2 if your bigs have resp OD, use 1-3-1 if you think your inside guys can still grab rebs and defend inside. m2m is the best since theres not mismatch.
