Hi,

As stated, I am resurrecting the mentoring program this season.

With the death of buzzerbeaterstats (OMG) scouting has become a massive pain.

I am looking for 10 scouts who will browse through all leagues in Australia and identify talented rookies and offer mentoring for those talented players. The offsite forum will be used as a place to track their skills.

I am looking for the mentors to target 18 year olds, and 19 year old trained players. I will focus on the 20 year olds.

The criteria I am looking for in mentors are as follows:

- Australian manager. Due to limitations of the offsite forum, we can only accept Australian scouts.
- show an interest in eventually managing the Australian U21 or NT.
- managers with a history of training players
- managers who frequent buzzerbeater quite regularly. Initial scouting may take a few hours, at most 30 minutes per week to continue scouting (new signups) and respond to enquiries
- managers who want to be an active part of Australian BB forums, both offsite and in BB

For those younger teams, such as Buzzerbeater Team, I suggest mentoring from some of the more experienced players on the offsite forum and applying to mentor in the future once you have a solid grasp of training and a history of winning.

This is a great opportunity to mould the Australian team of the future, and your mentoring will reflect on our national team, so lets do it well!

Please note that existing mentors from the last program are given priority if they wish to retain their position.

Other mentors on the individual team mentoring program (such as Direwolf, mllama, C-Cat etc.) are not required to post an application as they say whatever thy want on the offsite forum anyway!

Sorry to take this slightly off-topic - what happen to buzzerbeaterstats? The site's still up; is the NT scouter no longer working?

Well it wasn't last night but it is now! Rejoice!

That'll make life a lot easier, I can allocate trainees now.

And I don't feel like my $20 donation went to waste :P

Haha, I logged in at about 1am last night and was scouting through, then read several posts on here about how it wasn't working, and I was intrigued. Glad to be the bearer of good news!

i'd like to take up a role iwen. Don't want to take on handfuls of players but will certainly help. I have a pretty good track record with G's so that might lend some weight to mentoring anyone training those.
