this is just my opinion. whats your top closers/ clutch players. btw i know there is an actual statistic out there that measures clutch. but this is just a question of who is your favorite ones.

realy. ostertag? i completely forgot about him... he wasnt anythign special. yea he was 7'2 but he didnt really ever do much. he also said '"Steve Nash is the most unathletic player in the league.” bill has had some bad ones.

Mo was better than all these suckers and I hate the yankees. It seems that you chose the first 5 on your list based upon the fact that they all rocked an epic 'stache. Is this true?

Yes, the whiskers got Fingers the #1 spot, and the only reason Gossage is ahead of Quisenberry (which is the coolest freaking name in the history of sports) is because Goose is a great name and Q-berry pitched sidearm, and I couldn't just stack him and Eckersley together.

I put Browning on there because he was the only Reds pitcher I could remember from back when I actually paid any attention to baseball.

lol, i was waiting for someone to make a list of baseball closers and/or mention Kyra Sedgwick.

I put Browning on there because he was the only Reds pitcher I could remember from back when I actually paid any attention to baseball.

Rob Dibble should be memorable? he pitched around the same time. after a save, he once threw a ball 400 feet into the center field stands & hit a pregnant elementary school teacher on the elbow! (the ball then bounced into her husband's Coke.) he also got in a few brawls & even tried to throw a ball into a player's back from close range. you've got to remember some of that...
