What determines the Rating. This player of mine had a pretty good game -- granted it was a scrimmage -- but he only got a 4.0 rating. 17 points on 8-11 shooting, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks looks like a pretty good line. Was it just that is practice this week was poor or is there some only intangibles that are factored in?

He had 2 blocks but maybe his overall defense was bad.

Okay, good point. So its not just based on statistics, but could also be effected by how well he played defense or something that isn't well measure by the standard stats.

I think this has to do something with the minutes he played...

If he had that numbers in, let's say, 25 minutes instead of 42, I think he would be rated at least 6.0... Thats because I saw one player rated 8.5, he had a 10 points and 11 rebounds for 9 minutes played...
