Hey guys I'm planning on having only 1 of these guys on my team. I will be wanting to train them as a SF to try to make the U21 national team but which one would be easiest to train as a SF for my team and have the best chance at U21? Right now one of them is more like a PF and one is more like a PG but both of their heights are good heights for SF's. Which one?
Player a: PG type SF
Weekly salary: $ 4 587
Age: 18
Height: 6'7" / 201 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: mediocre
Jump Shot: respectable Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: respectable
Driving: respectable Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: inept Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: awful Shot Blocking: inept
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: respectable
Experience: atrocious
Player B: PF type SF
Weekly salary: $ 4 805
Age: 18
Height: 6'5" / 196 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: mediocre
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: mediocre
Driving: inept Passing: pitiful
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: awful
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: strong
Experience: atrocious

I would go with the first trainee, but they both have their ups and downs. I don't really get why all these managers in div IV and V are so focused on getting their guys on the national team though...

Because once you get into higher leagues you cant really afford to have your trainee play in your league games or that position could easily get crushed and its hard to play a scrimmage every single week due to minutes and injuries and such.

Why not train both of them at the same time to get one PF and one SF? because both are quite good, neither is flawless, but you could turn them into such a tandem.

Because I'm already training another SF/SG (20 yo) so it would be hard to train all three of them.

But on the other hand, on a lower league you can't afford such a high level trainer

If you need a good outside player keep the PG type. If you need a good inside player for the team keep the PF type.
