Well that was a great game. A dominant 113-45 victory for the Canada U21 team. The team played a motion offense and a TIE against Rep. Dominicana and their PTB, FTP, CT startegy. It was no contest. The ratings that we were able to put up on Monday were great! Im really impressed and very optimistic looking forward at this competition. Looking at some of the other teams ratings this week, we look really really strong this season!
Canada went into halftime with an absolutely dominate 61-13 lead and never looked back. Canada had very balanced scoring with 6 players hitting double digits in scoring and no one hitting 20. Elwood Singers 17 points on 10 shots in 22 minutes was definitely worthy of a player of the game nod(and not just cause he has self esteem issues and this would boost it therefore driving him to have many many more great games... ). The win kept Canada in first in Pool B(although against weak oppostition) whilst allowing the least amount of points and scoring the most(out of teams with 2 games played).
Next week Canada plays Paraguay who is currently sitting at 0-2 after playing Chile and the United States. their tournament will not get any easier with us playing them
