Is there a baseball simulation like Buzzer Beater?

I love basketball, and I'm addicted to Buzzer Beater. I think it is great. I spend way too many hours per day on here, checking the website for I have no idea why, even on non-game days. I sign on to BB like it's email or something, knowing nothing has changed since I checked in an hour ago.

But baseball is my sport, and I'd love to also get involved in a baseball sim that is a lot like Buzzer Beater. I want one where you can train players and such. I also want it to be free. Not because I'm cheap, but because until I know it is what I'm looking for, I'm not willing to put money into it.

Any info is appreciated.

I started to write one once but I didn't finish. I was done with the game engine when I realized I had to write a webpage and get publicity and all this other icky stuff!

If you can't find one you like, let me know, maybe you'll inspire me to finish it.

Here are some that I used to play a long time ago:

it's been a few years, sorry in advance if they went pay-to-play or freemium or something. I don't think they'll be exactly what you're looking for because their training systems seemed kind of hands-off, unlike BB's.

That's strange...
I was once done making a webpage, getting publicity & other icky stuff. When I realized I needed a game engine! Not having one, I ended up selling my design to a company: (http://yvettesbridalformal.com/),

But don't worry. I can make another equally streamlined, elegant webpage focused on useability for your project if interested. which i'm sure you are. with something like this: (http://annelaplantine.free.fr/biggiesmartypants.php) or this (http://annelaplantine.free.fr/sean.htm) as a splash page maybe.

The Broken Bat league above is so much like Buzzer Beater that you'd think they copied off BB.

Almost everything is exactly the same, except Broken Bat is still in the early stages of Beta Testing, so the Economy is pretty meaningless. You still make money and spend money right now, but there is a message saying it will reset again soon for the testing and not to put time into trying to build up money.

Their website at Broken Bat is also pretty generic compared to BB, but, it seems like a pretty good game and I'm certainly not complaining about it.

But everything is the same. You train your players by leaving them in the minors. Once they are in the Majors, the training stops. Players who are 18 and 19 in Rookie and A ball train the fastest. They completely stop training at 25 no matter if they are still in your minors or not.

Again, there's nothing that BB offers that Broken Bat doesn't, not that I can see. Tuesday is Day One of the season, so we'll see how well my team does there. I played two cups games today and won both vs bot teams. In Cup action, you play a 3-game series. I won 11-2 and 8-2 today.

If you guys do continue to build your own baseball sim, keep me informed. I'll for sure join. Probably be willing to help with some of the work to get it off the ground if there is anything I can do to help you.

Pretty sure that broken bat was created and is run by current NBBAer solana steve. So I don't know that "copied" is the right word, but I'd guess he was at least inspired by BB in some aspects. I keep meaning to check it out, maybe the start of the new season is a good time.

Wow, I really like your work. Are you available for some freelance/contract assignments? Do you supply/create your own art and music?

So if you use his work, does that mean I get a free prom dress if I sign up for your baseball sim?
