Rumor has it that there is a Paul for Rondo deal in the works, but Paul wouldn't sign an extension with the Celtics.

Wow! I can't believe! That couldn't be truth!

Rondo is good PG, but C.Paul is 5x better than him.

Who's the crazy to trade them :D?

i won't sign that, paul is better then rondo is true but rondo is one of the better ones and still pretty young.

the one who can not keep him, after this season and have to give him up for free ... I believe starting the rebuild earlier but with an head start is a smart move.

isn't that what i say ;)

Ok maybe i limited one a bit, he is that good then paul but both have their own strength. In new york a defensiv asset with good passing like Rondo, could be the better fit besides two natural scorers like Melo and Amare. But i think he would fail in a team where he had to lead the offense, as a main option.

NY has no assets but at the end of the day, it can be the only possible trade scenario team, so Hornets can end up only with some picks and scrubs.

New Orleans can get a better offer from a another team IMO, even if Paul doesn't sign an extension. LA, Dallas or Miami are possible scenarios. Injuries happen and a team like Dallas would trade some assets for a CP3 rental and a shot at a repeat. I think N-O holds on to Paul for a few months before making decision, if they don't just let him walk.
